Ithaafushi is the Waldorf Astoria's singular Maldives address — and an unusual one, set across three connected islands joined by wooden bridges. The Private Island is a separate offering inside the resort: a held estate of three full villas, a private chef, butler, gym and cinema. The main island and the over-water reef hold the public houses and the eleven restaurants. The register is grand-house: precise, warm, and built on the brand's longer service tradition.
