The retreat, in full
COMO Maalifushi sits on a 64-hectare island in Thaa Atoll — for now the only resort in the atoll, and the southern, more adventurous sibling to Cocoa Island. Thaa's quietness is the story: no other resorts means uncrowded breaks and undived reefs across the atoll. The surf programme is run with Tropicsurf and accesses twenty-plus breaks across three atolls — among the strongest at this tier in the country. COMO Shambhala runs the wellness layer at the same flagship register as Cocoa Island, and the Tai room holds the over-water Japanese seat.
